Delivering tomorrow’s packaging innovation today
What do Australian-first digital printers, cardboard turbines, a high profile marketing guru and paper based bubble wrap have in common? They all featured prominently at Orora’s inaugural Innovation Expo 18.
Held at the Orora Speciality Packaging facility in Melbourne, Australia, the four day customer event showcased the latest packaging innovations and technology from across Orora’s global business.
Under the theme ‘delivering tomorrow’s packaging innovation today’, the Expo had something for everyone, with presentations from industry experts, interactive displays and a tour of cutting-edge printing and packaging machinery.
Included in the tour was Orora’s brand new EFI Nozomi C18000 digital printer, which is the first of its kind in Australia. This market-leading digital printer is a game-changer for corrugated packaging customers, offering exceptional print quality at lightning fast speeds.
Also on display were the latest range of in-line digital printers that can be incorporated into a customer’s existing manufacturing process, a unique box maker, digital laser cutter and the Accu-Labeller, which prints and applies eco-friendly paper labels at superfast speed on fresh produce.
