Human rights & supply chain
We protect and respect human rights and seek to identify and remove any violations from our supply chain. We work with our suppliers to ensure this level of transparency and enforcement of standards.
We oppose all forms of slavery in our operations and the operations of our suppliers. Our first Modern Slavery Statement, developed in accordance with the Commonwealth Modern Slavery Act 2018, demonstrates this commitment to identifying, assessing and mitigating human rights impacts, providing access to effective grievance or complaint mechanisms and ensuring continuous improvement to strengthen our actions over time.
Responsible sourcing
We are committed to sourcing products and services in a traceable, socially and environmentally responsible manner.
Our Supplier Assurance Framework (SAF) identifies and mitigates potential human rights and environmental issues with our suppliers.
A risk assessment tool is applied to identify high risks, which are in some cases further assessed through Sedex (the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange). Suppliers must successfully mitigate any risks via an agreed plan and if unsuccessful, may no longer be able to partner with Orora.
